Web Analytics Manager (m/f/d) Permanent employee, Full-time · Düsseldorf

We are urgently seeking a “Web Analytics Manager” to join our newly created Marketing team, that’s rapidly growing, at Metro Markets GmbH.

This position is the central service point for marketing as it interacts with development and various stakeholders that relies on web data (product owners/commercial managers) to further develop better features for the users.

As the “Web Analytics Manager”, you will solve tagging implementation requirements, develop regular and ad-hoc reports, analyze trends, summarize and present findings, and articulate key insights. You will do that by owning the implementation of Website Tracking in Analytics via GTM and Data Layer, create reporting dashboards in Google Sheets and Data Studio, interact with different stakeholders, set up the basics for A/B testing and conversion rate optimization and working closely with a dynamic and innovative team.

You will be also responsible for tracking SEO performance and setting up and maintaining advanced tracking solutions in Google Analytics to improve the company understanding on its conversion funnel, customer journey mapping and channel attribution.

Professional working experience in e-commerce

Proven knowledge and experience with Google tracking and reporting suite, such as Google Tag manager, Google Analytics 360 and Google Data Studio

Working experience with relational databases and RESTful web services like BigQuery to work with large dataset  

Experience with Google Analytics API in conjunction with data cloud Storage

Well-rounded experience in technical implementation of A/B testing

Experience with Users Journey, Conversion Tracking, Channel Attribution

Great communication skills and fluent in English.

Data Interrogation, validation, dash boarding using SQL & R or Python would be an advantage, not must have.
