To strengthen our Simulia Brand team in Stuttgart, which currently focuses on important automotive customers, we are looking for a Solution Consultant (Application Engineer).

As a Solution Consultant, you will play an important contribution to the Simulia business growth and you will report to one of the regional Team Leaders.


Execution of fluid dynamics simulations with the Exa PowerFLOW suite, from the geometry model build of the complete vehicle to the setup, simulation, results analysis and preparation of presentations

Validation and implementation of innovative methods for our customers or prospects

Analysis and improvement of the simulation process in customer environment

Providing pre-sales support to the sales team and post-sales support to our established customers

Required Qualifications:


MSc. or PhD in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Computational Engineering, or related field, with solid knowledge of fluid dynamics

Strong interest in Aerodynamics, Thermodynamics and/or Aeroacoustics applied to vehicles

Work/internship experience in automotive industry is preferable

Experience with common CAD or meshing tools is preferable

Practical knowledge of industrial CFD applications (ideally PowerFLOW) is preferable

Knowledge of MS Office, basic knowledge of Unix/Linux

Languages: English necessary, German of advantage

Driver’s license and willingness to travel
