As trusted advisors, we build in-depth knowledge of what each client wants to achieve. Then we make sure the services delivered by Dell deliver on all our promises. We also work closely with Sales and Global Services colleagues to develop strategic account growth plans, and to identify and pursue sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities An opportunity exists to join Dell EMC’s Managed Service Organization. Managed Services is a growing service within Dell Technologies. We provide high quality service to support our core products. The role would be supporting a leading car manufacturer. Working with a number of different platforms, your role would be to manage our management stack of servers and services. Installation and support of our Tools stack. We are also looking for people who think outside the box and have a proactive attitude. Take a lead role in managing and supporting the customer’s storage environment (Incident, Change, Problem Management) Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with Dell EMC and customer's change management policies. Provide proactive recommendations to the customer for improving storage operations. Develops and maintains direct customer and broader service delivery relationships. Active involvement in delivery management process improvements Required to support and instruct less experienced co-workers, through classroom training sessions or on-the-job mentoring. Must participate in on-call activities Essential Requirements Technical college degree with 8+ years’ experience. Active Directory; MS-SQL; IP Address Management; Monitoring Solutions ( EM7); Report tools; Web Portals and content. Working knowledge of the following core technologies (min 3): VMAX / Isilon / ECS / Unity / SVC / Compellent / DFS / Netapp & Netapp C Dot / Dell Network Switches Knowledge of storage array performance analysis\design. Strong customer focus as well as strong communication, presentation and cross functional skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills. Dell EMC Proven Professional/Industry Certifications. Desirable Requirements Support of Server Hardware and OS ( Windows & Linux ) Knowledge of VMware products vRO, vRA and vROPS.
