Location: Nuremberg, Germany or remote office
Key Responsibilities:
Product security for our enterprise and community products
Secure product development, supporting development teams
Penetration testing of software products
Security incident management, evaluation, assessment, fixing of vulnerabilities
Developing tools
Writing patches
Working in projects and teams
Communication with external and internal (technical) customers
Candidate Profile:
An academic degree (Master/Bachelor or comparable) or IT specialist (Fachinformatiker)
Self-motivated and self-organized
Very good understanding of the Linux operating system
Programming skills in C and at least one scripting language (bash, perl, ruby, python, …)
Experience with application security
Knowledge of network security (TCP/IP, SSH, TLS/SSL) is a plus
Pronounced quality awareness
Good communication skills
Be a team player
Highly proficient in spoken and written English
