Your tasks will include * Architecting and developing big data pipelines and high-performance microservices running in Microsoft Azure, using Python, in a cross-functional team with backend developers, frontend developers, data scientists, and UX/UI designers. * Continuous integration and deployment with the opportunity to work in a DevOps model, in the best sense of it - you build it, you own it, you run it. * Alignment with other Fleetboard and Daimler teams, taking part in guilds to drive the whole product.We'd love to hear from candidates with experience in state-of-the-art methods to develop and operate cloud-based microservice-oriented solutions. You should have: * A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar * Experience with cloud-based services and API's (ideally in Microsoft Azure) * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (ideally in Azure DevOps (former VSTS)) * Experience with Docker * Strong skills in Python * Experience working using agile methods such as SCRUM or Kanban * Strong problem-solving & communication skills and proven team player Nice to have would be: * Experience with data-driven services * Experience working in a DevOps team * Experience with Kubernetes * Experience with relational and NoSQL databases And above all the motivation to work in a complex environment with lots of room for own ideas to optimize the status quo and take responsibilities to push state of the art digital solutions for connected trucks and the global logistics industry.
