(Senior) Android Developer

As an Android Developer you are part of the Mobile Team. We are an independently working, international team of 6. In addition to the Product Owner, 2 iOS developers and an Android developer, we also have a designer as well as a Mobile QA on board of our team. Together, we build new apps and improve the existing ones.
Responsibilities
Build new mobile apps from scratch
Maintain, improve and optimize our current mobile apps
Engage with other product engineering teams and continue to improve our customers’ experience
Requirements
A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of the Android SDK
Good knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
You are eager to learn and master unfamiliar technologies and/or concepts
You are familiar with Git and GitHub
You are proactive, flexible and solution oriented
You have solid spoken and written English communication skills
Nice to have
Experience with CI/CD (like Travis CI, CircleCI and fastlane)
Experience in new technologies, e.g. Flutter/Dart/Firebase
Experience with web technologies like TypeScript/JavaScript and CSS
Familiarity with server-side development and API design as you will participate in the design of back-end API’s and closely collaborate with back-end teams
