Scala Developer (f/m/d) at Risk.Ident GmbH (Hamburg, Deutschland)

 Stack Overflow ·  10.01.2019

Become the Sherlock Holmes of the web and help our clients to detect the fraudsters among their customers. In this never ending race, we are fighting the bad guys with technology!

We are looking for another Scala Developer to join our product development team DEVICE IDENT. DEVICE IDENT identifies customers’ devices through their unique characteristics and analyzes them independently of their personal data. Using intelligent rule systems, DEVICE IDENT ensures that fraud correlations can be identified consistently. Push email and API access allows for the individual assessment of the device information in real time. DEVICE IDENT is able to match all device data against its global pool. If a device is at any point marked as being part of a fraudulent transaction, all clients can take immediate action.

In DEVICE IDENT, we use a modern stack: Scala, Play Framework, Kafka, Akka, MongoDB. We use functional programming and optimize our product for performance and scale. The team is cross-functional and self-organized, following agile methods like Kanban and working in the OKR framework (objectives and key results). That is why we are looking for a Scala Developer who wants to become an active, communicative and collaborative team member of DEVICE IDENT.
