Within Channel Business , we are looking for a Regional Sales Senior Manager to join our team in Germany (remote) . Job Family Summary Manages the sale of the company products or services to specific existing strategic accounts on a national or large geographic basis. Manages a team of individual contributors or, at senior levels, managers and directors. Principal Accountabilities The Regional Sales Senior Manager establish sales through management of national sales team. He/she attains team revenue and margin targets, ensures that brand values are maintained. The person in the role provide direction, drive sales strategies, sales promotion campaigns, development and inspiration to team members, as well as manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce. Responsibility for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members, as well as responsibility for organizing cross functional teams' engagement with partner accounts is also part of this role. Principal Responsibilities The Outside Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the overall management and development of Channel Partner Acquisition. It includes the development and execution of the partner acquisition approach and partner development. This role serves as new partner identification Dell EMC and is responsible to establish robust methodology for periodically scanning partners in the Dell EMC Channel eco system. Directly manages field based individual contributors National responsibility for acquiring new partners Interprets and drives focus for outside team and helps sets focus of business Drives business process improvement efforts Understands complexities of the environment and works to solve routine business issues Collaborates with other functions to resolve escalations and issues quickly Orchestrate Dell EMC resources (sales, marketing, BU) and coordinate sales & marketing activities such as events, conferences, etc. Report on all joint sales & marketing activities (training, incentives, events, marcom, etc.) to Dell EMC channel management Skills Excellent knowledge of the German channel partner landscape Dealing with ambiguity Strategic agility / business acumen Analytical skills and application of methods to find potential channel partners Advanced understanding of channel partner climate Ability to understand the business requirements of new partners and build solutions that addresses the partner business needs Ability to play a lead role in driving a team, resellers and internal employees Education and Experience 8+ years of Sales, Marketing and/or Business experience 4+ years managerial/leadership experience Bachelor’s or Master´s degree English & German fluent Proven experience with management and execution of plans with partners Advanced oral and written communication skills to communicate with partners, support personnel and leadership Used to work in international matrix organization Experience and strong track record in acquisition of new partners Benefits We offer highly competitive salaries, bonus programs, world-class benefits, and unparalleled growth and development opportunities — all to create a compelling and rewarding work environment.
