Job-ID: 199018_ENAs a department for strategic new product projects & data analytic within the Marketing & Sales (MS) area at Daimler AG we are responsible for the project Customer Understanding 2.0. As part of the projects, we support the organization for implementation of big data and analytics projects and decision making based on data. All with the goal of better customer understanding, deriving better products and offering customers better services as well as improving internal planning potential. Alongside the other teams and departments of MS organization, our team work together with other departments, such as RD, Finance or legal department, and the external partners. For our multicultural, highly skilled team, we seek a Product Owner Data Access. Your tasks will be: Initiation, management and implementation of new data projects for the connection of new data sources to the analytics infrastructure. Implementation of high-performance, cross-system data pipelines: from data sources to data integration in the analytics infrastructure. Creation of requirements analysis for the new interfaces. Implementation of project work, e.g. creation of the comprehensive load or technical concepts, development and implementation according to the latest technologies. Contact person and consultant for source system architectures in the MS area. Coordination of maintenance and development topics around MS analytics infrastructure. Development of a meaningful data storage structure of the technical content in the Data Lake. Active work on the existing technical analytics infrastructure interfaces and this continuous further development and maintenance. Establishing and developing a sustainable national and international cooperation model with diverse internal stakeholders such as IT, Legal. Collaboration with the MS departments in the maintenance of the data catalog (data analysis, tracking of data origin) in the MS area. Overall responsibility for coordinating the maintenance of the data catalog and close cooperation with the other stakeholders. Main contact person for all overarching data catalog topics in the MS area. Close cross-functional national and international cooperation with several relevant contacts, e.g. IT and specialist departments, data teams (especially data engineers), external specialists. Presentation of the project results and coordination of decision templates in the cross-functional committees.Education: Completed degree in IT, Business Informatics, Mathematics or comparable qualification Experience and specific knowledge: Several years of experience in project management Several years of experience in engineering Practical experience in the areas of relational (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) and non-relational databases Openness or prior knowledge of working with big data and agile software development Very good knowledge of IT architecture and information security High affinity to cars, mobility concepts and their customers IT skills: Very good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases Ideally, basic knowledge in the development of models with Python and R as well as experience with Java, SQL and similar technologies.
