Within the Dell Commercial Sales VMware Business Unit , we are looking for a VMware Software Outside Sales Specialist to join our top-calibre team in Germany (Region Nord & Region Ost) . The VMware Software Outside Sales Specialist is responsible for managing accounts in a given BU, focusing on developing and retaining customers, as well as Acquisition of new customers or adding vmware software business to their existing Dell business. The candidate works in a challenging & exciting position which engages with Dell CoreSales/Channel, vmware, and customers to sell vmware software products and licensing solutions to large customers and is called into accounts to identify and support opportunities with main areas such as: Manages the relationship within group of accounts to ensure VMware opportunities and solutions are identified and closed Attain sales target on revenue and margin for VMware Regularly engaged at customer facilities and delivers high impact presentations leveraging strong licensing skills Understand and communicates technology roadmaps and vision and associated technical advantages of the proposed solution Recommends product and service configurations to assist with overall system design and integration Increase sales volume through direct sales effort in assigned accounts Drive increased VMware sales achieving forecast in revenue and margin Protect and Develop existing customers, Acquire new customers Essential Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication/presenting skills in German & English Sales driven with appropriated action oriented approach to meet targets/results Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills Highly motivated and results oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit Problem solving with appropriated prioritizing and resolution Ability to adapt to changing business and sales/support priorities Team player contributing to development and achievement of group objectives Qualifications & Knowledge: 2-4 years of applicable experience in licensing sales and solutions, and/or contract negotiation/management 2-4 years of related, industry or segment experienced track of proven performance Software industry and licensing experience for vmware required License and product certifications for vmware required. If not currently certified, must be willing to complete and maintain certifications.
