Manager (m/w/d) IT Service Management/Delivery

Your tasks

Cooperation in matrix organization


Help define efficient communication and decision-making mechanisms amongst the Market regions and global IT

Facilitate discussions among matrix functions with data and expertise

Consulting service for business departments regarding IT issues

Support interactions of IT teams (first-level and third level) with their interfaces in other board departments, service owners, external service providers, management Board and internal stakeholders


IT Service Management:


Lead and develop IT Helpdesk and IT operation

Ensure IT Security

Define and support (new) projects to continuously improve IT Services

Support Eppendorf’s IT transformation workstreams and projects, lead projects related to ITSM


Leadership/people management:


Establish individual goals and expected levels of performance, evaluate performance, give feedback and provide people development measures (e.g., training, coaching) where needed

Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor success

Support all Human Resources processes and procedures to ensure compliant and engaged team, participate in defining people development plans in line with the company strategy

Lead and motivate people and be a role model for Eppendorf’s Mission, Vision and Values

Initiate and realize the change process (behaviour, mindset), being a role model


Your background


Master’s (5 year) degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Experienced Service Management professional

Previous experience as a Team Lead of Service Management

Good knowledge of ITIL disciplines

Proven abilities in diagnostics and troubleshooting

Good knowledge of ITSM methods and tools

Proven knowledge of PC hardware

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language

Proven leadership qualities and business acumen

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to network effectively (internal and external) and establish effective working relationships

Results driven, good analytical capabilities

ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT Service Management (ITSM) qualification
