As soon as possible we are looking in Heidenheim for aIT Manager (m/f)

Our Hands on IT Manager shall work with the group Infrastructure Manager and IT Director, whilst being responsible for his entity. They will ensure TALIS policies and controls are main tained. You should help develop, deploy, and coordinate all aspects of IT Services when required as well as coordinate and work with local personnel, assisting with their IT requirements. Furthermore, you will provide technical support in-line within all areas of IT where necessary and appropriate to enhance and develop TALIS.

Your Responsibilities:

Ensuring that all the Group’s network systems (hardware & software) across all sites are kept up and running to agreed service levels

Risk analysis, disaster recovery and continuity of IT Services that includes third party support relationships that are required to achieve agreed service levels

Work closely with the Infrastructure lead to offer continual improvements and define the overall objectives and plans in line with the business goals with the IT Director

Development, documentation and training of the Group IT systems (hardware & software) across all sites to relevant staff within the organization

Oversight of the installation and maintenance of all IT related hardware where applicable

Maintaining other IT related systems including, but not limited to; Email / IT Helpdesk / SAP / Anti-Virus

Source and manage external vendors for IT equipment / services as required

Provide technical lead and customer support where required for all systems

Provide support to local sites / staff to ensure smooth running of all IT systems

Assisting the IT Director in any other duties / projects as required

Required to visit and support other Central Europe entities with local group activities

Support and maintain SAP user administration

University degree in Information Systems, Information Management or equivalent combination of education and experience

Proven experience 2 – 3 years in a similar roleAbility to manage a small team and to travel

Good knowledge of multi-site network systems, infrastructure and network security

Experience with SAP Administration

Proven experience in creating and maintaining policy’s and continuity planning

Positive customer focused and drive for results

Ability to manage and deliver projects and services within agreed goals
