Installing, configuring and updating our censhare application
Ensuring the operation of our application in our data centres (SaaS), in-house installations, customer installations and installations in AWS and on a VMware basis
Communicating with customers and partners for support and consulting purposes
Deriving sizing and architecture recommendations
Installing, updating, backing up and restoring Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
Troubleshooting and performance analyses of our application, databases, the network structure and operating systems
Because you have to offer a lot:
You have at least three years' experience in the areas described above
You have sound knowledge of at least one Linux or Unix operating system (concept, commands, package management, Bash and scripting)
You have at least basic skills in Oracle or PostgreSQL, SQL and virtualisation (VMware)
Sound knowledge in dealing with network security and services, such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, TCP/IP in general
You have a very strong command of written and spoken English and good communication skills in German (written and spoken)
You are responsible, reliable and can work independently
It is a plus if you dispose over:
Sound knowledge of Amazon Cloud
Experience with Nagios/Icinga
Experience with Ansible and Docker
If you are familiar with ITIL and DevOps
Because being an IT Backend Specialist (m/f) at censhare matters:In this role, you will be the interface providing customer service assistance to our customers and partners in Germany and abroad. You will also assist your colleagues with IT issues that are related to our product. In addition, you will be the in-house interface for our Project and Development department at our headquarters in Munich.You will also be working closely with customer service staff in the USA and India.We will also offer you an ITIL Foundation training and the LPIC1 certification so that you can familiarise yourself with your new role in the best possible way.Why Us?Because we have a lot to offer!
