Collects and defines business requirements in partnership and collaboration with the business and obtaining sign-off

Translates business requirements into technical, architectural and application strategy taking market and technical trends into consideration;

Develops user stories and test scenarios

Liaises with Domain managers, clients, and other stakeholders as appropriate as the business/functional counterpart for solution identification to ensure consistent implementation of relevant IT processes and systems

Partner with Process Owners to ensure policy and processes are supported and sustainable in the HCM platform

Provides Business rules, supports in data conversion specifications and interface requirements to technical teams

Reviews feasibility studies and estimates

Supports the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulates the impacts and risks as identified

Prepares and creates business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions

Responsible for defining testing requirements together with the QA & Testing Team as well as the clients for User acceptance testing phase

Responsible for Quality Assurance of project deliverables

Supports the Business on prioritizing change requests

Manages product enhancement requests with Cloud Vendor and partner with Cloud Vendor product leads on functional roadmaps

Ensures the business is prepared for quarterly releases and new functionality driven by Cloud Vendor

Work with various HR & DBS functional groups to analyze business needs to provide appropriate, innovative, and cost-effective solutions

Evaluates technologies for inclusion in forward-looking technology strategies

Assists development teams with design and product architecture

Analyzes technology issues and propose short, mid and long-term solutions

Works with other senior technology leaders to propose technical solutions and help craft architecture & technology roadmap

Works with delivery teams to offer additional solutions via mobile and other access channels

Evaluates new technologies on a consistent basis to see if implementation will improve existing data communications network, considering costs, security, speed and usability



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Business English Level

10+ years of experience in software development and design or large-scale, complex global operations

Experience deploying capabilities for large service-driven organizations

Experience in working virtually with both onshore and offshore teams

Experience implementing payroll and/or timekeeping systems such as ADP or Kronos

Operational experience in payroll or timekeeping a plus

Shared services/global business services experience/exposure preferred

Strong experience managing vendor platforms including system configuration, functional roadmaps, and testing

Data analysis skills and the ability to extract, analyze, and transform data

Functional expertise and the ability to tie business requirements to system functionality

Understanding of the relationship between data, business requirements, and system functionality

Experience with test script creation, execution, and automation

Background in client relationships, especially in managing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams

Strong communication skills along with a team-oriented attitude

Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and software engineering processes and tools desirable

Strong strategic thought leadership skills

Excellent technical problem solving and technical writing skills

Able to establish new technical direction; establish clear technical vision and a roadmap to implement that vision

Ability to manage multiple high-profile initiatives concurrently  

Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft suite product knowledge strongly preferred

Knowledge of relational database and SQL and basic IT architecture understanding.

Advanced knowledge in MS Office products: Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,  MS Project etc.

Cloud computing experience a plus
