Your typical day will include
Specification, implementation, and validation of complex peripheral drivers for real-time embedded control software
Support of the implementation of functional safety standards and processes (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, SIL)
Software development for control and regulation technology
Validation and verification of new software drivers
Tool-assisted documentation and specification and version control management
Maintenance of existing applications
Implementation of functionalities for CAN and diagnostic tools
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Several years of experience in complex embedded software development using C
Good understanding of memory architectures and embedded bus protocols (SPI, I2C, etc.)
Familiarity with hardware debug tools such as bus, protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters
Fluency in English for daily communication
Detail-oriented working style, ability to and interest in seeing things in a broader perspective
Team player with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment with different cultures in a large organization
It will be an advantage, if you have additional knowledge in
ARM embedded architectures
Eclipse or other integrated development environment
Product integration and scripting
CAN and higher layer CAN protocols
