We are looking for an applicant for a permanent position to support our team in Berlin as an:

What are your responsibilities?

Developing software for an innovative product based on Linux and real-time operating systems using C/C++ and Java or C#

Analyzing requirements for applications with focus on our business unit public mobility

Designing firmware for new devices and sensors

Coding and implementing software features as well as their verification using reviews and module tests

Preparing technical documentation such as specifications, design descriptions, functional specifications and test plan

Implementing of software development projects

Close cooperating with hardware development, quality assurance and product management

What is your profile?

University degree in computer science, computer engineering, engineering sciences or a similar course

Very good knowledge and relevant professional experience in software development for embedded Linux systems in C/C ++, especially in the field of communication protocols and parallel processing

Knowledge in Java or C#

Motivated team player with an independent, autonomous and project-oriented way of working

Excellent communication skills in German and English

Willingness to travel within Germany and abroad

Nice to have:

Programming skills in Python, HTML/CSS and JavaScript

Previous experience in the field of vehicle software (railway, automotive, shipping etc.)
