Digital Workplace Systems Engineer

We are looking for an engineer, who can introduce and implement innovative digital workplace solutions and services for Hilti members. We expect positive disruptions and automation in digital workplace, around Identity and Access Management, Messaging platforms, O365 services, virtual desktop, BYOD, and Modern Device Management.

As an engineer, you will work closely with our user group representatives to understand and analyse the client workplace requirements. You will then conduct the engineering activities for delivering the technical solutions together with the vendors (MS, VMware, HP, or Lenovo). We expect for solutions with high quality, scalability, automation, optimization, and documentation. You are expected to provide 3rd level support, guide your co-engineers, and lead the technical discussions across teams. Technical background in MS SCCM, VDI, AD, Azure AD, O365 services, Exchange Messaging, File Shares, or MS Windows is essential. Our Digital Workplace solutions and services create positive impacts on how 28K people with more than 30K devices all around the world are working daily.

A strong knowledge of MS, Google, or VMware solutions. This includes Windows 10, SCCM, Intune, Auto-Pilot, Citrix, AirWatch, Windows, O365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, or Yammer), Active Directory, or Azure Active Directory

Experience in hardware functionalities (Lenovo or HP products), driver management, threats and issues, OS deployment and packaging, PowerShell, C#, or network components (LAN/WLAN/WWAN)

Strong communication (fluent in English), presentation, document writing, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills

Minimum 3 years of agile engineering experience in IT workplace and the willingness to grow further as a technical expert for 2-5 years

Master’s degree in Information Technology or engineering related fields
