Your tasks As an SE IT solutions architect, you will implement mathematical and statistical analyses of large operational and external data sources to assess cause and effect. You will also be responsible for managing business solutions in data analytics, and for advising the business partners and the IT community in IT General Business Services & Corporate Center, as well as in Customer Solutions & Innovation. You will also be responsible for conducting feasibility studies (proof of concepts) on the GBS data analytics platform, and for the independent application of mathematical and statistical prediction models intended to assist in reaching overall IT solutions. This will encompass compliance and security, and data protection-related requirements in the design of IT products. Your Responsibilities Research and prototyping of analytical models for business questions related to Deutsche Post DHL’s shared service organization GBS Team collaboration in development and operationalization of statistical and mathematical models Communication of project progress and results to peers and senior management for data science projects in GBS Collaboration on configuration, management and enhancement of our cloud-based analytics platform. Our Requirements Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant post-study experience in a large corporation or a consulting firm. Strong business understanding, with the ability to identify relevant business questions and suitable problem-solving approaches quickly Comfortable working with all levels of management, able to critically evaluate and communicate analytical problem-solving approaches with conviction Experience with advanced analytics and statistical techniques Fluency in relevant programming languages, especially Python  Experience with micro services and API development, big data frameworks, cluster computing, cloud automation and container virtualization is a plus. Strong individual contributor and team player with a can-do attitude. Excellent intercultural communication and coordination skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English and German.
