We are searching you for our location Nuremberg, Germany as Cloud Specialist (m/f) Who we are? – Group IT is the GfK internal service provider for IT hosting, business and enterprise applications management. Group IT is staffed internationally with GfK IT specialists from six continents and works largely in virtual teams. The skills for the many technologies involved and the capacities required for global support are kept in balance in a modern organization built for IT service management. In close collaboration with our GfK internal clients, we run the core applications providing advanced technology with economics of scale. We are seeking YOU to join our journey to digital excellence! Your future responsibilities will be the following: Subject matter expert for private and public cloud related topics Define and develop GfK's Cloud Services Portfolio Align with internal clients on requirements in respect to current and future portfolio, including resource, capacity and SLA management Evaluate, design and implement new IT services in close cooperation with our GfK Global Architecture Team and Service Operations Support business planning (project and service pricing, business case and ROI calculations, assistance in department-specific budget planning) Requirements You are a hands-on person with strong analytical skills who solves problems fast and effectively. You like to take over responsibility, drive topics continuously forward and spend time on the right priorities. You have a high quality awareness and service orientation, team spirit and enthusiasm. Your experience typically includes: Qualified IT or IT related education At least 3 years of working experience in IT Expert knowledge of VMware Cloud Stack (VMware vRealize Automation & Orchestrator, VMware vSphere and VMware NSX) Proven experience of major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure and GCP) as well as network & security integration and role and permission management Experience with implementing cloud security best practices Strong scripting skillset and working knowledge of one or more high level programming languages (e.g. Powershell, Python) Skilled in designing and implementing Infrastructure as code and templating (cloud formation, terraform, ARM templates) Familiarity with deployment automation and release processes is a plus Excellent command in modern communication tools (telephone- and video conferencing) Proficiency in English (at least level B2/C1 in Council of Europe scale) We are one dedicated global team and build GfK's cloud on smart and connected solutions.
