Share job The things you make happen Highly/fully automated driving has the potential to revolutionize our current transportation system. As part of an international team, you will contribute ideas as well as implement specific functionalities in the domain of behavior planning for automated driving within pilot as well as series projects. Your tasks will include: Development and implementation of algorithms in one or more of the following fields: Planning under uncertainty, probabilistic approaches in robotics, and novel ways for risk-aware intelligent decision making in uncertain environments Machine learning techniques for novel autonomous driving applications including traffic prediction and planning Extensive evaluation of the developed algorithms in simulation as well as real world scenarios Participate in the development of different functionalities within series and pilot projects based on customer requirements Execution of tasks in collaboration with teams from different departments in an international environment The skills you need M.Sc or PhD in the domain of Robotics, Computer science, Physics or a related field Knowledge and proven expertise in at least one of: motion planning, planning under uncertainty, traffic prediction Working knowledge of recent machine learning algorithms (such as deep reinforcement learning) and optimization techniques Programming skills: C/C++ (necessary), ROS (highly recommended), Python (recommended) Proven system integration and software architecture skills Ability to work on challenging problems as well as implement efficient algorithms to address those problems Proficiency in English language, German language knowledge is a plus Excellent communication skills along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a big team in an effective manner Interesting facts Do you want to work part-time?
