Summary: The Software TSR is a challenging & exciting position which engages with Dell CoreSales/Channel (AE, ISR), software vendor licensing specialists, and customers to sell vmware software products and licensing solutions. Focused on product and licensing solutions and working as laison for our strategic software partner vmware this is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic sales team with scope on the German market. Providing licensing advice to the sales teams during the sales process and accountable for delivering licensing solutions, products, services that address customer needs are the main objectives for the Software TSR. Within Dell’s end-to-end solution approach the Software TSR will also work with other subject matter experts to address a solution of even higher complexity. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Provides software licensing services/solutions expertise: formulate the customer business strategy with CoreSales, leveraging resources to ensure proper positioning of vmware’s software portfolio Viewed as a trusted business advisor to the customer and uses knowledge of vmware software and solutions to help customers formulate direction Joint selling to a large number of small to medium business accounts in a territory or limited number of larger accounts May own account sets and/or be called into accounts as opportunities are identified and can discuss the vmware software roadmap in depth. Analyzes multiple market factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommends appropriate vmware software licensing services/solutions Engages cross-functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/meet customer needs Exhibits a broad base knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding Remains up-to-date on new product, technology, and services offerings. Stays current on industry and vertical licensing solutions. Assists in on-going technical licensing education and development of the CoreSales team. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication/presenting skills in German & English Sales driven with appropriated action oriented approach to meet targets/results Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills Highly motivated and results oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit Problem solving with appropriated prioritizing and resolution Ability to adapt to changing business and sales/support priorities Team player contributing to development and achievement of group objectives Qualifications & Knowledge: 3+ years of applicable experience in licensing sales and solutions, and/or contract negotiation/management 3+ years of related, industry or segment experienced track of proven performance Software industry and licensing experience for vmware required License and product certifications for vmware required. If not currently certified, must be willing to complete and maintain certifications.
